URL e-adopters: 10 Of Save Money's Illest Video Releases..... So Far

In honor of their concert tonight with MMG’s Gunplay, Save Money got the “Best Of” courtesy from Fake Shore Drive earlier today (cop tix here). First, dropped a music compilation called “Best Of Save Money” which was pretty solid but still doesn’t do the collective’s catalog justice…. Then there was the list of the “25 Best Save Money Songs” which seems like almost the same thing but it apparently is not so check out both links to really dig deeper into what SM’s dropped up to this date.

On the other hand, a lot can be said for the crew’s decision making when it comes to choosing which of their tracks have a visual attached to them. Each member of Save Money has his own style, sound & aesthetic that meshes seamlessly into the overall Save Money movement. They consistently work with some of the most talented directors/videographers in Chicago and every video released seems to stand out from all of the others- and in a crew as deep as Save Money that’s a positive, for sure.

In order to fill that extra void, we’ve decided to compile a small list of our top 10 Save Money videos. No rankings, excessive explanations why or half-assed critiques. Just bangers & god music with equally captivating music videos. So without further ado, here are:

"Chance The Rapper Drops Acid": Interview Magazine's Interview W/ Chance the Rapper

Unless you live under a rock or you literally just started listening to hip-hop (the world’s most popular & universal music genre) today you’ve probably heard of Chance the Rapper of Chicago’s #SAVEMONEY crew. This goes twofold for residents of Chicago who would have seen a whilrwind of good press for the 20-year old rising MC throughout all of the major music media publications in the city (see The Red Eye, Chicago Reader & even Pitchfork). Everybody’s calling the kid’s number these days because of his new project that dropped yesterday called Acid Rap & he probably deserves every single call he gets because the joint is damn good.

The Andy Warhol-founded Interview Magazine even felt it was necessary to give Chance a call & see what’s on his mind these days. They paid him a visit & took a walk around South Loop, Chicago to eat at Lou Malnati’s & chill at the Bean. In a rather entertaining & informative interview, Chancelor Bennett covers ground on the NYT, death & violence in his hometown of Chicago, IL among other things. Click the link to read the interview & go give Acid Rap a spin immediately below (DL here):
