Smoke Breaks is a light compilation of Soul and Electronic experimentation. Our smoke break series will be a Bi weekly presentation of instrumental music inspired sonically by our compositions/conversations with a multitude of soul and electric based artists. For the past 2 years weve been trying to find a comfortable center that encompasses a Futuristic/Vintage sound. This selection of beats represent the foundation of a sound we like to call Glitch Soul or Soul Fi… As the series develops in the coming weeks we will share more of our evolution based on this sound. Smoke Break series also contains some instrumentals used in our Visual documentary projects.

St. Louis’ newest streetwear boutique located in the heart of downtown, DNA, will begin its monthly in-store music series called “Vibes & Stuff” on Saturday, September 1, in conjunction with FML Fest on the Washington Ave. shopping strip that same day. FML Fest celebrates fashion, music & life and we feel it would be a perfect time to show the city what the DNA lifestyle is all about.
Since it’s on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend, we will host a special all-day in-store party/concert starting at 3 PM & taking it well into the evening from there. In addition to the in-store event, we will have nice sale going on: 20% off most items in the store…. Hell, we’re even gonna throw in some free drinks in the mix to make Labor Day weekend the shit!!
